How pathetic

In the office there appears to be several rival tea-clubs. I've just been caught 'stealing' a drop of milk for my mid-morning cuppa from another clubs milk supplies as ours had run out. I wasn't given the chance to apologise and explain, or even counter-accuse as I know for a fact that they nick our occasionally when they've run out. The woman was so rude in what she said, and the way she said it, I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck standing up! She went straigh down and
told the rest of 'her club', and I heard several exclamations of 'You're Joking' etc.

How pathetic!

P.S:
We have milk delivered at home for about 38p/pint, and I reckon a 'serving' for tea is about 20ml, so that's about 30 servings per pint, approx 1.5p/serving. Bearing in mind tea-club milk comes in 2pt or 4 pt bottles from teh supermarket or corner shop, do you think I ought to off her 3p/2p/1p/nothing?

Back on my bike (again)

I wonder what state my bike will be in when I get back to it tonight?

Or not as the case may be!

I got back to my bike yesterday evening to discover that some little
scrote had let all the air out of both my tyres, bent the mud-guard
out of shape, and spat on the saddle! I don't (didn't) carry a pump
(or a puncture kit) with me, so couldn't ride home. As it happens,
Charlotte had parked the car there, so I could get a lift home with
her.

Since I went out to a band rehersal last night, I've not had chance to
pump them up again, so had to get a lift in the car today. :-(

Back on my bike

I'm back on my bike again today - my ribs seem to have recovered
enough now to withstand the pot-holed roads we have round here!

As I'd not done it for a while, I seemed to arrive at work more tired
than I have done in a while.

Sometimes ...

I really hate my job

Particularly on days that go so slowly I think my watch, the clock on
the wall and the one on the computer have all stopped!

Couple this with the fact that it's not the area of my expertise, and
it's a recipie for disaster!
